The Remote Worker Awards, in association with BT
Business is the only business awards featuring
remote and home working. It offers employers the
chance to be recognised for their flexible working
solutions. It also gives employees the chance to
shine amongst their peers as the best remote and
home based workers.
The Awards aim to identify the most deserving
individuals and businesses who support this unique
method of working.
The Remote Work Awards have 10 categories, each
carrying a valuable prize as well as an award:
- The Home Worker Award - for employees
whose employers promote flexible working
solutions with home working options.
- The Microsoft Remote Worker Award
- for employees whose employers promote flexible
working solutions with home working options or
remote working.
- The Arise Be Your Own Boss Award -
for people NOT currently working from home who
want to be their own boss will win a home based
franchise from Snippets worth £10k and runners
up will each be awarded a small business start
up kit.
- The Lucent Vision New Internet Business
Award - open to anyone who is NOT in
business and wants to start up a new internet
business. You are invited to submit your ideas
for a new website business or online ecommerce
business and our judges will choose the person
who will win their own website to start up and
run an internet business from home.
- Helen O' Grady Special Award - for
someone NOT currently working from home and who
wants to use their teaching and drama skills to
work interactively with children will win a £15k
home based franchise from Helen O' Grady!
- PCG Freelance Consultant Award - for
freelancers, consultants and contractors who
work flexibly, remotely or work from home as a
freelance consultant or freelance contractor.
- The Babyworld Parentpreneur Award -
for businesses, large or small, who can show the
most successful business and family combination.
- The BT Home Business Award - open to
anyone running a home business, large or small,
who can demonstrate how they promote flexible
working solutions with home working options or
remote working.
- BlackBerry Remote Employer Award -
for employers and companies that promote
flexible working solutions with home working
options or remote working. Also open to
companies planning to implement a remote
workforce.
- The OfficePOD Award - for
individuals, employees and employers who want to
change the way they work and be involved with
the next generation of workplace.
