Smart Economic Growth - experts needed!

International Workshop in Utrecht

Read background on the Smart Economic Growth Project

This event is an opportunity to meet practitioners tackling live issues around smart growth. It is designed for
a range of people working with growth issues – for example developers, architects, commercial property
organisations, economic development officers, planners etc.

Six “expert workshops” will focus on real life case studies and will be led and facilitated by experts and
practitioners who will share their expertise and experience

The event forms a key part of the SEG project. The results of the day will be used as material to be inserted
within our developing best practice toolkit SEGDEG.

Attendees will be set challenges alongside our experts to come up with potential answers to issues and
problems faced across North West Europe. As well as a chance to contribute to the event they will be able
to learn lessons and benefit from the experience of others.

Sessions will be devoted to subjects such as:

  • Free market operation in restructuring
  • Carbon neutral business sites
  • Making business parks more attractive
  • Temporary space use
  • Moving premises
  • Smart organisations
